Waterworld is the name of the permanent underground exhibition space of the Netherlands Water Museum. More than 50 interactive exhibits describe how locks and pumps prevent flooding, the water content of the human body, the workings of the sewage system and how people all over the world deal with water.

Themes
The exhibition is divided into three themes: Water and Nature, Water in the Netherlands and Water in the World. Hands in pockets are strictly forbidden in the underground Waterworld. You need to be hands-on to find out more about water.
