Water Information Centre

Did you know that 70% of the earth’s surface is covered with water? And that only 1% of that water is available for drinking? Did you know that the Nile is the longest river in the world, stretching for about 6,670 km? Or that people in the Netherlands on average use around 130 litres of drinking water per day?

The Water Information Centre is on the first floor of the old Beguine Mill. Do you want to find out more about water treatment or surface water? Are you preparing a presentation at school? You will find answers to all your questions in the Water Information Centre. It has a library and 20 computers where you can find out all about water. There is often an information manager on hand to help you out.
